Art in Many Forms

Easter Day
Started early with Sam's sinister cinnamon rolls and Easter baskets for the kids.
Then the scavenger hunt, a wonderful Kender tradition, sending the kids all over the house searching for clues to a present at the end.
More Easter egg hunting in the backyard,

A photo I love.

Afternoon Easter egg dying to prepare for the evening egg cracking contest.
Meanwhile, from Gamboa, the annual kids-on-the-slide Easter photo
and our Gwen
and Simon.

The Day Before Easter

There was a 4pm trek from the Page/Kender's to the Page's, a 4 block journey through the back alley

for an Easter egg hunt in the Page backyard

because the Page/Kender backyard looked like this.

The Easter bunny (aka Max) helped hide the eggs,

and the hunt began--

reaching into tricky, rose-bushy places

for the rewards.

The grown-ups sat, sipped drinks, ate appetizers,

and helped in the hunt

before all went back to the Page/Kenders for dinner and floor time with tired kiddos.

Maddie's 8th!!
Vanilla cake surrounded by little pink chicks.  Much color and pattern for our very artistic girl.

Blowing out the candles
Where to begin?
Clothes and crystals = style and science.
