Here's to 50 Years

of a wonderful journey together.

From our special Chocorua summers,

  To raising our kids,
watching them get married

and  delighting in being with them

                                                             and their perfect spouses!

                                                        To welcoming four very sweet

grandchildren!

To taking trips together.

To storytelling moments of dancing

and singing.

To enjoying cozy moments

To aging together.

Truly wonderful to have had these 50 years together.

Wonderful Real-Life Train Names

 The California ZEPHYR!!
What a word! I had to look it up. Zephyr is a soft breeze.
 Who uses it now?

Imagine The Coast Starlight streaming from Los Angeles to Seattle at night.

The Palmetto from NYC to balmy Savannah.

The Empire Builder sounds so New York tough.
.
The Capitol Limited seems prescient in view of today's truncated politics!

And naming a train after a city:  The City of New Orleans
--and then a song after a train.

I think it was the Silver Star that Sam and Rachel and I rode overnight down to
Miami from Washington DC many years ago.  Emmy and Didi met us in Miami.

Max's 5th Grade Graduation
from Edison Elementary, the neighborhood school we've grown to love,
was an at-home Zoom event
complete with fizzy drink and bubble blowing.

Max got a well deserved achievement award!
Two proud grandmothers look in from above on Skype screens

and there's one super excited Mom!
Congratulations Max!  You're the best.
