Sam's repainted room looks great

 

 

 

 

but all the stuff in there was moved into Rachel's room

 

 

 

 

and the living room is receiving a fair amount of it's own chaos.

Minimal! Minimal! Minimal!  That's my new motto.

Back to Barrington,

a new realtor, 

a home face-lift.

 

But is warm beige really the right color for the kitchen?  We're such all-white people (hmmm), colored walls--?

 

 

And then, can Chee Heng manage to clean out this conglomeration of stuff by Friday when the room will be painted?

Simon's World

is a very active one.

From opening presents on Christmas day,

to scolding Tulip for lying down in the middle of his train track ("no, no, no, no!!!" which is exactly what we said to him when he patted too hard or tried to pull Tulip's tail),

to wondering if photography might be his thing,

 

to, and this is my favorite, cleaning under the stove with a fierce intensity.

You have to love him!

Gowns for Gwen

On Christmas, Gwen started as a princess,

 

became Rapunzel,

then glittered around as Tinkerbell.

Being so many fairytale princesses is hard work--sweet Gwen!

Recovering from it all amid mounds of Kleenex.  The household went through many boxes the week after Christmas.
