The theme for our storytelling group this weekend was to become someone from the 1900's era, so...

Theo became the first woman to climb Mount Washington (who knows who that really was or when that really happened),

and Toby dressed up as President Grover Cleveland.
The reality was that the only things we had in Chocorua to take for costumes were mosquito netting, binoculars, and big pillows to use for a paunchy stomach.

Before we left though, the sun came out, the lake water got warm, and we put in the dock and raked away lots of leaves. Tulip was the stick-from-the-lake remover (and also the stick-into-the-lake putter).

And for those of you who wonder, the Thai Basil is getting bigger!

  3. Those costumes are great!! I also love the pic of Tulip staring at the large stick as Toby holds it overhead. I'm looking forward to reaping the benefits of your work on the dock and leaves. I hope the water isn't too cold for us in October! At least we can canoe.
